thanksgiving +

After a nice thankgiving meal with my parents and martha's mom (grilled sweet potatoes by me - turkey by my mom!) we were off to boston. Two good friends lent us their awesome condo in brookline for the post-holiday weekend - Amitabh and Jess - thanks again to you both - buy cool cards from Jess here : www.jessicasmithdesigns.com.

Nicolas's latest stats: 2lbs and 13 ounces, no longer needs the heater in the isolette and is wrapped up like a little burrito. He's wearing clothes now - and its fun for us to dress him even though he doesn't really enjoy it. :-) He also was able to eat a little this weekend off martha - he has the reflexes and the intuition but not the stamina yet. He gets tired after 5 minutes and is then fast asleep.

Martha and I are quickly getting over our fear of holding him and are now doing all the chores we can with him which include: taking his temperature (underarm), changing his diaper, dressing him, removing him from the isolette, and holding him. We get to hold him for an hour a day and are taking turns. :-)
