We started this blog in November 2004 as a way to celebrate the arrival of Nicolas Henri Meier who arrived in the world 3 months ahead of schedule (very unlike his parents who are late for everything) :-)

My father died on Saturday afternoon the 18th of February. There is nothing I can write that comes close to the loss we are feeling.
